Group Walking and Daycare

Cancellation policy

If you wish to cancel your booking, please contact us immediately by phone on 0451 272 373 or email info@onehappydog.com.au


The deadline for cancellations is 5pm the day prior to your booking If your dog is unwell, please let us know so we can arrange an alternative booking. Same day cancellations incur a 50% cancellation fee.


Solo Walking

Cancellation policy

Appointment changes

At One Happy Dog we are happy to accept changes to the days or times that your dog walks. If you wish to make a change to your dog’s walking appointment please contact us immediately on 0451 272 373 or email info@onehappydog.com.au


The deadline for changes is 5pm the day prior to your booking. For the safety of the dogs in our care we are unable to accept same-day changes to your dog’s pick-up and drop off time or location.


No shows

If we arrive at your home to collect your dog at the appointed time and your dog is not there the full cost of the walk is charged.


Cancellation due to weather

Dogs need their exercise so we walk on hot days, cold days, windy days and wet days. In the case of extreme weather, for the safety of our staff and the dogs in our care we may need to cancel a group walk. We advise of cancellations by SMS to your phone as early as possible on the day of the walk. If we are required to cancel a walk the cost of the walk is deleted from your account


One Happy Dog Daycare 

Hours

Daycare hours are approx. 7:30am to 4pm

Extended time outside of these hours can be arranged by prior appointment. Our Daycare is a max of 3 hours per dog.

The deadline for cancellations is 5pm the day prior to your dog’s booking. If your dog is unwell, please let us know so we can arrange an alternative booking. While at One Happy Dog we are happy to accommodate changes to the time of your booking time as best we can, same day cancellations incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Acknowledgements

The client acknowledges that One Happy Dog allows dogs to play and interact directly with one another on & off leash. The client further acknowledges that due to this, injuries to pets may occur. The client agrees that One Happy Dog will not be held liable for any injury or illness and expressly waives any and all claims against One Happy Dog, or its employees for any loss, injury or illness to their pet or their property while in the care of One Happy Dog or its employees.


One Happy Dog agrees to provide services in a reliable, safe, sanitary and trustworthy manner.

The client agrees to express any known behavioural/aggression problems that their pet has with other animals, toys, food or humans. The client is solely responsible for any harm or injury caused by their pet while in the care of One Happy Dog.

The client understands that all pets accepted must be in good general health. Veterinarian information and proof of all required vaccinations must be provided to One Happy Dog during the initial interview, and immediately upon any changes. Pets must be on a flea and tick prevention program whilst in our care. Under no circumstances will One Happy Dog, or its employees, will be held responsible for Paralysis Tick, Canine Influenza, Injury, Death, Loss or Damages of any kind whatsoever that may occur to any animal while in the care of One Happy Dog.

Should any pet become ill or injured while with One Happy Dog, we reserve the right to administer necessary aid, and, if necessary, transport the pet to a vet. Any expenses incurred are the responsibility of the client. One Happy Dog will attempt to contact the pet's own vet, but reserves the right to transport the pet to another if necessary.
